Blue Tangerine LLC is a digital marketing agency specializing in Website Design & Development for home builders and Digital Marketing services for ecommerce and home builders. We assist clients with the implementation of digital technology and provide digital marketing services that help rive tangible business results.

SEO Specialists are responsible for all aspects of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) including keyword research, link building, content analysis and optimization, and reporting. The ideal candidate will continuously achieve designated objectives of increasing website traffic and revenue in addition to upholding superior customer engagement.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Research & Planning

  • Reviewing and analyzing client sites for areas that can be improved and optimized
  • Perform keyword research to identify high-value search phrases to drive traffic that will convert into sales leads.
  • Analyze client competitors and identify gaps and opportunities to generate relevant new traffic
  • Stay updated on the latest SEO strategies and search engine guidelines
  • Provide strategies and recommendations for continuous success

On Page

  • Write, edit, and optimize SEO content for blogs and websites
  • Optimize on-page elements such as title tag, meta description, URL, headings, images, videos and internal links
  • Recommend strategies for additional SEO friendly content to enhance the customer experience

Off Page & Local

  • Develop & execute inbound link building strategies
  • Obtain N.A.P. citations (name/address/phone number) and/or update citations around the web to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Manage/update client Google My Business, Bing Business and other key business portal for local SEO clients

Technical SEO

  • Perform quarterly audits of client sites to identify technical issues that could prevent search engines from efficiently crawling client sites
  • Advise on best use of structured data on client web pages
  • Evaluate taxonomy and make recommendations to improve the accessibility of key pages/content on the site
  • Work with the client web development team to recommend site changes and improvements that will positively impact site rankings and conversion

Reporting/Analytics

  • Generate monthly benchmark reports for rankings and traffic
  • Perform analysis of ranking and analytics data to assess the effectiveness of the SEO plan in generating traffic and sales/leads for the client
  • Keep up to date on current SEO strategies through continuing education, seminars, subscriptions, and self-study.
  • Communicate progress, roadblocks, and opportunities to the account team

Qualifications

  • Current knowledge of latest trends and best practices in search engine marketing.
  • Use industry tools like Google Analytics, SEMRush, Moz, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office Products especially MS Excel
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team dynamic
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a quantitative, test-driven field or 2+ years working in SEO
